Follow Up to HealthVault Article

I wrote recently about a new deal in progress with the US Government and Microsoft HealthVault.  It can be found here.  It seems as though MS isn’t sparing any horses and keeping the investment going.  Mary Jo Foley, whom I follow quite closely in the blog-o-sphere let loose the announcement today (link here) about a new SharePoint based connector for HealthVault that will help doctors and pharmacies better coordinate care for individuals.  This HealthVault Community Connect tool will allow participating hospitals to submit relevant paperwork to HealthVault for better consumer access.  This is a fantastic idea!  Pre-registration is also an option but it just lends itself to an ongoing compelling story with Microsoft about some of the great uses for the healthcare industry.
